Brookwood Selection are urgently seeking experienced Data Centre Engineers to start a permanent role for our client in London.
The below experience is required;
· Must have 5-year minimum similar work experience within a Data Centre for Technical understanding of Network Infrastructure.
· 1-year minimum experience for General Network Hardware and Cabling Standards
· Experience of a change control / ticketing system such as Service Now & Remedy
· Knowledge and experience of Fibre and Copper Infrastructure including patching schedules and paths.
· Knowledge of full Data Centre environment including MDFs / ODFs and Telco Carriers
· Knowledge and experience of Server and Switch installation including Battery Raids, Hard Drive Swaps, DIM Memory and PSU Replacements.
· Knowledge and experience of Fluke DTX/DSX 5000 testers or similar for both fibre and Copper Testing
· Good knowledge of the Co-ordination/planning and installation of various PC/IP desktop moves and change.
· Good communication skills including employees, contractors, suppliers and customers.
· Self and time management skills
· Computer literate using MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Teams
